Welcome to Writesimon.com
I spent most of my life seeking adventure; from hitch-hiking alone to India when I was 16, to working with Pygmy peoples in Cameroon and the Congo. I managed Greenpeace’s direct actions from their founding office in Vancouver, climbed in the Himalayas, and Mexico, travelled in China and hitch-hiked across the Sahara. I’ve lived and married in Cameroon, managed a project in Canada’s North West Territories at -40c. I now live in a Tudor manor house in central London. I’ve also written some fiction, and other entertainments. Some of my best stuff is towards the beginning of the blog, but you should find the themes in this introduction by using search.
